Hog Roast Malton Served An Unforgettable Spread At Westfield Farm!

Wedding season is in full swing, and Hog Roast Malton is loving every minute of it. From intimate elopements to micro celebrations and full-blown lavish affairs, we’re proud to have played a part in making so many weddings that little bit more magical, with food that actually lives up to the occasion.

HOG ROAST NORTH YORKSHIRE

Most recently, we packed up the van and headed for Westfield Farm – a beautiful, family-run spot tucked into the heart of rural Yorkshire, with sweeping views in every direction and a stunning tipi holding most of the celebrations together. Ross and Emily, the couple of the hour, couldn’t have picked a better setting for their big day, and we were thrilled to help make it even more memorable with our Alfresco Menu.

This fan-favourite spread suited the semi-outdoor, rustic feel of the day perfectly. Guests got stuck into our trademark hog roast – succulent pulled pork, crisp crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and applesauce, all piled onto soft rolls – and it didn’t take long for people to see exactly why we’re the region’s go-to for hog roast catering. Between the golden, crackling skin and those rich, honest flavours, everyone’s taste buds were properly singing. Well, almost everyone’s. Among the 100 guests, Hog Roast Malton had a handful of vegetarian and vegan diners to win over, and win them over we did, with BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls topped with plant-based slaw giving them just as much to enjoy.

We didn’t stop there either. While meat-loving guests worked through Italian-inspired antipasti platters – set up just outside the tipi at the couple’s request, loaded with cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, and dips – our veggie and vegan guests had their own equally generous spread to enjoy.

With that much food on offer, leftovers were always going to happen, but Ross and Emily had already thought ahead, asking for the extras to be served up later in the evening to keep everyone fueled as the party carried on – something we’re always happy to do. For anyone with room left for pudding, tarte au citron and profiteroles rounded things off beautifully, paired with a drink or two courtesy of the brilliant team from The Yorkshire Box Bar.

Hog Roast Malton had the best time being part of Ross and Emily’s day, and we couldn’t be happier that it turned out even better than they’d hoped. Congratulations to the very happy couple – we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
