Now that we are in September, it is time to make the most of the warm weather before it disappears. A great way to do so is by enjoying a meal in the sunshine with your local community. At Hog Roast Northallerton, we have plenty of menus that are perfect for this occasion, including this delicious option…
Lauren is the event manager at a museum in North Yorkshire and is currently trying to plan ways to attract more visitors from the local community. One idea that she had was to host a community meal in the museum garden, with catering from Hog Roast Northallerton. Our manager Steven was hired to serve our delicious BBQ menu to the 80 guests since it has a good variety of dishes to choose from and is perfect for enjoying on a sunny afternoon. Lauren is hoping that once people from the local community have visited the museum once, they will be more likely to attend future events and will see the museum as an essential part of the community.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Northallerton team will arrive at the museum in the morning and prepare for the 2:00pm serving time. We will begin by barbequing the selection of mains, which will include succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the selection of sides, the guests can enjoy homemade chips, sweet potato fries, homemade coleslaw, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, and corn cobettes. This menu is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy and we always prepare plenty for second servings. We are hoping that our menu will be ideal for attracting visitors to the museum, which is exactly what Lauren is hoping to achieve.
