In preparation for Easter, Hog Roast Easingwold was contacted by Sarah to provide catering at her local community centre. Sarah is a volunteer at the community centre and planned an Easter event for people of all ages to enjoy, with crafts, games, and a delicious meal for all to enjoy. Since the catering was set to be the star of the event, she needed to find a menu that would be perfect, including something that would appeal to all of the guests. After looking through Hog Roast Easingwold’s menus, we decided on providing a Gourmet BBQ for the occasion, as it includes a wide range of dishes and has plenty to go around.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Easingwold team arrived at the community centre and set up our catering station outside. We began by preparing the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, succulent beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and BBQ spareribs. The mains were all served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. Additionally, we also provided a wide selection of side dishes, including sweet potato fries, homemade chips, a selection of salad dishes, crunchy coleslaw, and corn on the cob. Overall, this menu was perfect for the occasion and had something for guests of all ages to enjoy. Our menu was the ideal addition to this Easter gathering and definitely helped to ensure a good turn out!
