Freya and Tom are expecting their first baby this summer and have been surprised by a lovely baby shower organised by Freya’s mum. The event was set to take place at a local function room, which will be decorated with a beautiful spring theme, including plenty of fresh flowers. Hog Roast Cawood has been hired to cater for the party with a classic hog roast, followed by a delicious selection of desserts. This will be ideal for the occasion and will go down a treat alongside the party games and gift exchanges.
Our classic hog roast menu begins with a delicious slow-roasted hog, which will be cooked to perfection on the day of the party. After roasting for five hours, the pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw and a selection of tasty salad dishes. Following the main course, we will be serving a variety of delicious dessert options. This will include profiteroles, sticky toffee pudding, and a fresh fruit salad. Each dish will be accompanied by English cream and fresh berries to ensure that it looks and tastes delicious! Our menu is sure to be a great addition to this event since there are plenty of dishes to choose from and more than enough to go around.
