In preparation for her wedding this May, Alison’s hen party is set to take place this February. The event has been organised by her maid of honour and is going to include a cocktail-making class and a day of drinking, followed by a delicious dinner the next day. Our classic hog roast menu is sure to be the best way to combat any hangover, so the Hog Roast Burnsall was more than happy to get involved. The ladies are spending the night in a beautiful farmhouse, with a large lounge and dining area which will be perfect for us to serve our menu. We will be on hand with plenty of food for 16 people to enjoy, including enough for seconds!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Burnsall team will arrive at the venue in the morning and prepare for the 2:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it has over five hours to roast to perfection on-site. Once the pork is ready, it will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. Additionally, we will be serving sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling, to create a filling and delicious main dish. For the sides, the guests can enjoy roasted baby potatoes, seasonal salad dishes, gourmet coleslaw, and corn cobettes. Our menu is sure to go down a treat and will be the perfect lunch to enjoy after a busy day of drinking and celebrating!
