As the summer months approach, our schedule fills up even more, presenting us with the opportunity to be part of even more special events. And this past weekend, we had the immense pleasure of playing a pivotal role in Ellie and Gary’s vow renewal—a celebration five years in the making!

The couple had initially tied the knot during a time when finances were tight, promising each other that when they were fully settled, they would have the wedding of their dreams. That time had finally arrived, and on Saturday, they reaffirmed their love and commitment surrounded by 80 of their nearest and dearest at a stunning castle hotel.

Our catering manager, Richard, meticulously ensured that every detail of their chosen menu was executed flawlessly. As guests arrived at the reception hall, they were greeted with trays of fresh fruit juice and champagne, setting the tone for a day of indulgence and celebration.

The culinary journey continued with an array of delectable canapés, including smoked Scottish salmon, mini quiche, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, chicken liver parfait, and an enticing Indian selection—each bite packed full of freshness and flavour.

But the pièce de résistance was yet to come. A traditional hog roast, spit-roasted English lamb, and BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls, as the meat-free option, were accompanied by garden-fresh salads, coleslaw, and dauphinoise potatoes, elevating the meal to new heights of culinary excellence.

And what’s a celebration without dessert? Sticky toffee pudding and tarte au citron with fresh cream provided the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable feast, leaving guests’ taste buds tingling with delight.

As Ellie and Gary looked around at the smiling faces of their loved ones, their hearts swelled with gratitude for the love and support surrounding them on this special day.
