This June, Hog Roast Beck Hole is catering for a charity football match taking place in North Yorkshire. The match is being hosted to raise money for a local children’s group to allow them to purchase some well-needed upgrades, including new playground equipment and a new heating system. The event is bound to be a lot of fun and is sure to attract plenty of spectators, especially with Hog Roast Beck Hole providing a delicious hog roast for half time. Our catering manager Richard will be on hand to serve the menu to the spectators and players, which will be perfect for raising some extra funds.
On the day of the match, the Hog Roast Beck Hole team will arrive at the sports centre in the morning and begin by setting up our catering station. We will start our prep by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it over five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, the pork will be carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. We will also be serving BBQ-pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious meat-free dish. The spectators can also enjoy homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a fresh green leaf salad, which will create a well-rounded and balanced lunch, with more than enough to go around. This event is sure to be a great afternoon and the Hog Roast Beck Hole team is looking forward to being part of it!
