Ella is getting married in 2024 and her best friend Laura is in charge of organising a hen party for 25 ladies to enjoy. Ella is always up for a party, so the hen party needed to be something fun and exciting, while also having something for older guests to enjoy. It was decided that the hens would enjoy a weekend mini-break with cocktail making, a dance lesson, and plenty of partying, followed by a relaxing day of spa treatments and a delicious meal from Hog Roast Bishop Monkton served at their cabin. For the menu, our catering manager Steven was hired to serve a classic hog roast, as well as a meat-free option, to the ladies. This was sure to go down a treat and would be ideal after a Saturday filled with drinking!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Bishop Monkton team will arrive at the cabin in the morning to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection, alongside some delicious veggie sausages. Once it is time to serve the menu, the mains will be accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, and fresh bread rolls. For the side dishes, the guests can enjoy homemade roasted potatoes and seasonal roasted vegetables. Serving the menu at their cabin will be the perfect way to enjoy our menu comfortably while creating a luxurious tone for the afternoon.
